FAB 21 – Transformation of metallic tubes

THE FACTORY OF THE 21ST CENTURY TRANSFORMS ALL KINDS OF TUBES

*Specialist in the transformation of tubes of all forms.

*For the automobile industry and agricultural engines, railway and aeronautic sector…

*Designing and manufacturing of prototypes, spare parts, small and medium-large series (industrial pieces, decorative objects). Assistance during conception, quality, flexibility, reliability.

Until the end of last year, Fab21 belonged to the Japanese group WTX. Now, the factory continues its activity as automobile supplier rang 1 or 2, continuously relying on its expertise in the transformation of tubes of all forms, especially for the transport of fluids in the motor environment (water, air, oil, exhaust gases, fuel…): supply circuits, heat exchanger, etc.

The CEO, Jean-Michel Coutelier, explains: “the transformation of tubes is the heart of the mission of Fab21 and we have the necessary know-how, as well as adequate means of production to shape, hydrotransform, bend, fold, assemble (welding by resistance, TIG, MIG, MAG, Laser, soldering flame and oven), any kind of tube made out of steel, stainless steel and aluminum.”

QUICK PROTOTYPING OF INDUSTRIAL PIECES AND DECORATIVE OBJECTS

Fab21 is also able and willing to assist the clients during the phases of conception, quick prototyping and industrial integration. Today, the strategy of the enterprise is based not only on its two traditional pillars: the transformation and assembly of tubes, but now also on two new pillars: creation, in collaboration with designers, of decorative objects, based on tubes, for interior and exterior use, as well as the 3D printing of prototypes for industrial parts and décor.

“The two biggest strengths of Fab21 are its experience and its competence, its know-how. Thanks to the dedication of our personnel (85 people) these assets can be utilized to assure an exceptional level of quality in our products – our rate of irregular products is less than 6 parts out of a million. Further, the production prices are very competitive due to local measures ‘BER’ (Bassin d’emploi à redynamiser – a system that allows the enterprises to base themselves in certain places in France and benefit from advantages that help to nurture their early development)”.
